Position: Lighting Supervisor
Department: Programming & Production (Advertising, Arts & Media)
Location: Sydney Opera House
Salary: Base salary of $111,792 per annum, plus 11% superannuation contributions

The position holder is responsible for leading, supervising and developing technical teams to deliver outstanding lighting production for both performances and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and ensure crew and production compliance with appropriate policies and procedures including risk management procedures.
Deliver relevant technical standards and work collaboratively within the production team.
Contribute to the rostering and charging of staff and equipment to meet business demands.
Ensure compliance with relevant technical and WHS standards.
Contribute to the ongoing development of WHS awareness at Sydney Opera House.
ARE YOU THE ONE?

Key Responsibilities/Skills:
Comprehensive skills and experience (minimum 5 years) in the live theatre/entertainment industry.
High level of technical expertise in all aspects of lighting operation and design specifically integrating ETC and GrandMA platforms.
Demonstrated high level supervisory skills, including a track record of event delivery and knowledge of supervisory responsibilities under WHS.
Good communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Physical fitness, agility and ability to work at heights.
Flexibility and commitment to continuous improvement of the Lighting Department.
