Sandblast & Painting Technician

- Short term full time employment - with the opportunity to be full time permanent employment - We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sandblast and Painting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and application of coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Perform sandblasting and surface preparation activities using various equipment and abrasives.Apply coatings using different methods and to different paint specifications to protect surfaces from corrosion and deterioration.Prepare and mix paints and coatings to ensure proper consistency and colour matching.Inspect and clean equipment to maintain functionality and safety standards.Adhere to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.Document work activities, materials used, and maintain accurate records.Collaborate with the project team and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.Qualifications: Proven experience in industrial sandblasting and painting.Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, coatings, and various painting methods/specifications.Familiarity with different types of coatings.Ability to operate sandblasting equipment, spray guns, and other tools effectively.Strong attention to detail and quality standards.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Physical fitness to perform tasks.Benefits: Competitive hourly rate & overtime paid.Work on diverse and exciting projects.Regular company BBQ's.Attractive hours.Family owned & operated business.Early/Mid November Start ?
