Join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager and help drive excellence at our Burleigh Heads Retail-Ready facility.
Key Responsibilities Quality & Food Safety Expertise : Lead and implement advanced HACCP protocols, food defense programs (VACCP & TACCP), and industry-specific food safety standards, ensuring compliance in retail-ready production.
Regulatory Compliance : Stay at the forefront of food safety standards and regulations, ensuring our facility meets and exceeds retail industry expectations.
Leadership & Team Development : Manage and inspire a team in a high-paced environment where product shelf life is short.
Foster a quality-driven culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and accountability.
Process Development : Design and implement procedures that support the demands of fast-moving, short-shelf-life products, ensuring product safety and quality at every stage.
Key Requirements Educational Background : Bachelor of Science in a relevant field or significant industry experience.
Industry Experience : Proven track record in a quality assurance role within the food industry, with a focus on meat processing or similar environments.
Cultural Influence : Experience in driving food safety and quality culture, fostering a proactive approach to food safety.
