Perinatal Mental Health Clinician

Part-time, fixed term, 2 days per week (16 hours per week), Heidelberg location

Perinatal Community Service/Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Division
The Perinatal Community Service (PCS) operates from Hawdon Street Community Mental Health Clinic. PCS is part of the broader Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Division. We provide services within a specialist outpatient team, focussed on outreach to homes.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager of the Perinatal Community Service, you will work closely with the Manager of PCS & the Parent Infant Program Inpatient Service (PIP), Consultant Psychiatrists of PCS and collaborate with PCS/PIP and broader mental health team.
A regular day will see you:
Assess and provide in-home outreach based therapies and interventions to parents with infants under the age of 2, focussed on relational attachment work
Liaise with multiple stakeholders of your outpatient client caseload
Develop and provide training and education in parent-infant work to other staff within Austin Health and external groups as required.
