The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to come and join the team in Sydney. In this pivotal role you will be driving the success of complex engineering design projects.
Your leadership will ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery while fostering a collaborative environment with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end design process, from initial concept through to project completion.Lead and mentor a team of designers and engineers, ensuring streamlined workflows and adherence to project schedules.Collaborate with project managers and key stakeholders to develop design solutions aligned with client expectations and organizational goals.Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and quality assurance frameworks.Identify and address design challenges proactively to maintain project momentum and efficiency.Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for new opportunities.Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.Proven experience in a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.Excellent understanding of design principles, software tools, and construction methodologies.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative design solutions.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
