As a result of our strategic growth, we are inviting talented individuals to join the McMahon Services Northern Territory team, having offices based in Darwin, Gove, Alice Springs & Katherine.

About the role : With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based in NT.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for the project.
This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory with relocation assistance provided.
The role is well supported by project delivery teams and management with assistance from corporate legal and financial resourcing and provides for excellent career development.
Responsibilities : Be a key member of the project leadership team and support the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budgetAdminister contract terms and conditions for projectsPrepare and negotiate project variations, extensions of time claims and other contractual claims in association with the project delivery teamProcurement of subcontractors including preparation of subcontractor scopes of works and subcontractsAdministration of subcontracts including payment claims and other contractual claimsUnderstanding and reporting on construction progress and productivityMentoring administration staff for the projectsMonthly reporting on key project indicatorsActive management and administration of project delivery, administration and reporting softwareManaging budgets, cost coding and forecasting and understanding and reporting early indicators for project outcomesCollaborate to ensure that the Site Manager / Site Supervisor and project engineers are knowledgeable of the subcontractor(s) scope of worksParticipate in, report on and lead where required, project meetings with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and managementEnsure project handover documentation is compiled progressively and professionally and client takeover experiences are positive and timelyMaintain positive relationships with customers and consultants to promote and identify project opportunitiesAbout you : 5 years proven experience in Contracts Administration rolesDiploma or Degree Qualified in Finance / administration or construction related courseExcellent knowledge of commercial construction contract managementA knowledge of construction scheduling and cash flow managementExcellent communication and numeracy skillsExperience in cost control, forecasting and monthly reportingHold a current Driver's licenseAs an employer who embraces equal opportunity and diversity, we strongly encourage female, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
