Chief Of Staff

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to lead the Ministerial office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Minister, taking on the responsibility of long-term strategic planning, operational leadership, and day-to-day management of the office. This role requires a high level of comfort in working across a broad range of portfolios, localised priority projects, policy development, and legislative reform. The Chief of Staff will also oversee the professional development of a small team of ministerial staff and ensure the office operates in a manner that supports the Minister and the government.Key Responsibilities:Managing a high-performing team.Long-term planning and strategy development.Policy review and analysis of complex policy issues.Coordinating government and legislative business.Engaging in constituency work as needed.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, and experience in public policy development and implementation. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Experience or understanding of parliamentary systems and the political landscape is preferred.
