Add expected salary to your profile for insightsBased in Sydney or Orange, we have an exciting opportunity at RW Corkery to join our team as an Environmental Consultant, with the opportunity to learn from our experienced team and the collective knowledge we have gained from delivering over 500 Environmental Impact Statements and thousands of projects.What's In It For YouA career at RW Corkery means joining us on our journey and in our commitment to exceptional client services in every mining, quarrying and construction project that we undertake, working to the values of professional excellence, integrity and the highest standards of business ethics.In return, we offer:Flexible and supportive role, with hybrid work arrangements available, combined with office and client site visitsOpportunities for short length regional and interstate travelA work environment where each person is valued and supportedA culture of continuous learning, with opportunities for our team to grow and succeed professionallyAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Consultant to join our team on a full time basis.In this role, our new team member will:Work with a broad range of clients and technical experts to project manage and execute delivery of large and small projectsConduct environmental impact assessments and prepare detailed reports, environmental impact statements, and management plans, ensuring regulatory complianceLiaise with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to address environmental concerns and secure project approvalsMaintain contemporary understanding of environmental, planning, regulatory and policy requirementsBuild relationships with clients based on authority and trust, providing them with technical expertise and compliant and innovative client-focused solutionsWork in collaboration with wider team to ensure clients are provided with holistic high level technical support from relevant specialists and stakeholdersAlign and complement our values of integrity, honesty and respect, collaboration and innovationAbout YouWe are seeking a team member who not only fits the requirements of the role, but who can complement our values, and drive our commitment to quality, environmental integrity and sustainability.In addition, successful candidates will have/be:Tertiary degree/qualification (or pending) with excellent results in a relevant discipline such as environmental science, geology, soil, ecology, water, engineering, law or related sciences.3-5 years experience in environmental consultancyDemonstrated experience in mining, quarrying or construction sectors advantageousExperience in conducting environmental impact assessments and delivery of environmental impact statementsContemporary knowledge and familiarity with environmental legislation, regulatory requirements, and approval processesExceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships based on trust and respectHigh level written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise documents for clients and other stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect and assess environmental data and recommend effective solutionsA passion for environmental consultancy, with a proactive and adaptable approachCurrent unrestricted drivers licence and willingness to travel to client sites as neededHow to ApplyPlease submit an application including your resume, a cover letter outlining your interest and alignment with the position along with a copy of your academic transcript via the Apply button.Short listing of applications will commence from 6th January 2025 when we return from our year end break.If you have any questions about the position, please contact Nathan Fallowfield on .#J-18808-Ljbffr
