Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeThe Nathan River mine site is located 50km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately 760km from Darwin. We are the proud owner and operator of the Roper Bar Iron Ore Mine, managing a fleet of mine and marine assets dedicated to our operations.As a result of the success of the initial operational kick off in 2023, we are anticipating our phase 2 expansion plans. This growth has created a need for additional crew members.We are seeking the following position:Reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor on your crew, you will enjoy working in a varied role where you'll develop a broad range of skills in both the workshop and in the field. Working in a close-knit team, you will be involved with:Workshop - servicing, preventative and scheduled maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics, and major component change outs.Field - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and servicing of trucks and air conditioning.Production machinery - Loaders, Dump Trucks, Graders, and LV fleet as well as Heavy Rigid Trucks.FIFO Roster Ex Darwin is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.Desirable for this position:Mining experience (desired)An excellent attitude towards work and desire to work in tough NT conditions.Ability to work on machinery in the field and workshop.Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.Open Driver's license.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as an automotive electrician?Do you have mine site experience?Have you worked in a role that requires fault finding experience?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
