About the roleWorking for a multi-billion dollar plus FMCG organisation, you will be responsible for leading commercial finance for ANZ to ensure commercial plans are in line with financial strategy and support the commercial team in the market to maximize the company value through commercial plans.
The responsibilitiesReporting to the Commercial Finance Director ANZ and working with the APAC team, you will be responsible for providing key commercial analysis (but not limited to):
Support operations through the provision of effective management information and analysisAnalysis of product line & category performanceExecution of financial plans and initiativesPartner with sales and marketing teams to drive commercial decisionsLead the pricing/ discounts/ rebates decisions and processesTrade spend analysisDrive strategic initiatives to ensure revenue and profit growthFinancial models to support business casesMonitoring of major projectsIdentify risk and opportunitiesDrive a key transformation projectDevelopment of customer pricing models and profitability analysisSpearhead process improvements across both operations and financeThe successful applicant will haveYou will be a CA/ CPA qualified accounting professional with a proven track record in an analytical role, preferably FMCG, retail, manufacturing or similar.
You will have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think 'bigger picture'.
You will have proven business partnering skills and be an excellent communicator.
You will have led and/or mentored teams and be passionate about the development of people.
