About the Role:Are you a passionate Secondary Maths teacher looking for a chance?

Serving approximately 1600 students from years P-12, this exceptional school welcomes both graduates and experienced teachers.
With a strong emphasis on maintaining excellent student behaviour and fostering a supportive environment, teachers of any faith are warmly welcomed.Key duties:Develop and implement a comprehensive math curriculum that aligns with The Victorian Curriculum.Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and progress in math.Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including providing additional support or challenges as needed.Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in math education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development.Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to share resources, ideas, and best practices.Skills & Experience:Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Current VIT registration.Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree).Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Maths in Australia.Supportive of school's Islamic ethos and faith.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering:Commencing as a full-time position in 2025.Instructing students in years 7-10 or, under the IB Program (training provided for IB stream).Engaging with accessible and transparent leadership.Contributing to the planning and coordination.Salary commensurate with demonstrated expertise and time commitment.The School:International Baccalaureate Accredited School.Approachable management team and smaller team structures.Well respected school within the local community.Collaborative planning model with professional development opportunities.Why work with Tradewind?The Benefits:Work with an organisation that is relentless in securing quality opportunities in a personalised way.Relevant and real information about roles.No joining fees/other fees.Resume and Key Selection Criteria assistance.Interview tips and preparation provided.Professional development by two Principal mentors on a consistent basis.Tradewind Australia is a specialist, education recruitment agency and is the preferred supplier of teachers for many schools across the greater Melbourne / Victoria region.
