The job is for a Second Chef position at Barchester Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the UK with over 224 homes and hospitals.
The role involves assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus around them.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver hotel / restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks, and will also be part of a company that is driven by quality and celebrates life.Main duties of the jobThe Second Chef will work alongside the Head Chef to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
They will manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, assist with menu development, and work within budget.
