Maintenance & Property Team Leader Permanent full-time position available | Based in MenangleUtilise your trade skills to make a positive difference every single dayGreat opportunity to join a leading aged care providerBased in Menangle, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Property Team Leader to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be based at the Residential Aged Care Home - Durham Green Manor.
About the role : In collaboration with the Area Manager and Site Manager, you lead the maintenance team ensuring quality property support and maintenance services to all customers, whilst ensuring BaptistCare assets are maintained to the highest standard.
This diverse hands-on leadership role requires a proactive approach to the maintenance and involves the general upkeep of the buildings plant & equipment, furniture fittings, gardens, lawns, pool and carparks, as well as liaising with, and supervision of, contractors, tradespersons and suppliers as required.
About you :
To be considered, you will have : A trade qualification with a minimum 12-month trade experienceDemonstrated experience in managing preventative and reactive maintenance systemsExperience in an Aged Care, Retirement Village or Health Care environment preferredExperience managing / supervising contractor and / or staffValid driver's licenceWell-developed communication skillsExcellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise and multi-taskExcellent problem-solving skills as well as technical knowledge to fault findGood understanding of Work, Health and Safety practiceSound computer literacy skillsPassion for helping others, supporting the elderly and making a positive impactGenuine alignment to BaptistCare's mission, purpose and values.Why Join Us?
