To build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others.An integral part of our Intensive Family Support Service team, as a Child & Family Case Worker you'll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.Let's make a meaningful difference, together.Your part in our UnitingCare teamWe are currently seeking to appoint a Child & Family Case Worker to become a part of our UnitingCare FaDs team on a fixed term contract to April 2025. This role will predominantly be based out of Gladstone.In this role you will provide a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care to support complex, vulnerable and often hard to reach families. This role will see you actively engage, assess and develop collaborative case plans to ensure we are prioritising the families' presenting concerns in turn preparing them to be referred to specialist support services.You will have a genuine passion for helping people who are vulnerable with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act. Supplementing this you will have tertiary qualification within Human services or related discipline, a driver's license and a working with children blue card (or the ability to obtain).
