Job DescriptionThe Role: Due to our ongoing growth, we have created a new position for a Financial Analyst to join our team and support the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic FMCG business and function as a true business partner. You will collaborate closely with internal departments on various analytical, reporting, compliance, and business advisory tasks. This is a full-time role based at our head office in Banyo, Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy.Management report preparation and analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.Partner with business units to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and align with business objectives.Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business initiatives and decision-making, including scenario analysis.Ad-hoc business performance reporting.About You: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.Members of CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent.3-4 years of experience as a financial analyst within a large FMCG environment would be highly regarded.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.Advanced knowledge of Power BI.Ability to establish and maintain relationships across distinct functions within the business.If this role sounds like you, please click on the "apply" button and follow the prompts.
