Buckland is a quality provider of Aged Care services situated in Springwood in the Lower Blue Mountains NSW.
We are a well-established non-for-profit organisation and are well respected in our community.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Cleaner – General Service Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity.
Our ideal candidate will be available between Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, adhering to the cleaning requirements according to daily cleaning schedules Ensuring that adequate hygiene and cleaning supplies are maintained across the Facility Completing required documentation and reporting Service of Morning and Afternoon Tea to Residents Adhering to WH&S requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and cleaning equipment. Adhering to Infection Prevention and Control principles and procedures Please note: The GSO Department covers cleaning, kitchen & laundry.
All GSO staff may be required to train & work in all areas as needed by the Facility.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following: Flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of tasks in different departments in a fast-paced environment Have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role - desirable but not essential Have knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles Have strong organisational and time management skills Be proactive, flexible and able to show initiative Be willing to learn and commit to ongoing professional development Understanding of Food Safety requirements Have a high-level attention to detail Understand the need for privacy & confidentiality Willing to be a team player and assist co-workers where needed Have their own transport or live locally What we offer at Buckland: Salary sacrifice arrangements Employee Assistance Program A great working environment with a supportive team and management On-going learning and development opportunities This is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
