PCA Ground Engineering is an innovative company offering design and construction ground engineering services to both private and public sector clients.
We target both subcontract and principal contractor works.
We are looking for an Estimating Manager to join the business & lead our estimating team from the front.

The Estimating Manager is responsible for the management, growth and development of the Estimating Team.
Implementing and developing strategies which align with PCA objectives.
Ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency across the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist PCA's senior management to manage the strategic direction of PCA.
Manage tasks and duties of the direct reports inclusive of staff reviews and performance management.
Ensure healthy and positive communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
Implement core values of 'safety above all else' and 'respect for community and environment', demonstrating this in tenders in addition to supporting this strategy through strong management practices.
Highlight to the market through presentation in tenders how PCA not only adheres to environmental and safety compliance but exceeds, referencing why PCA presents the best opportunity at each project.
Selective tender targeting using a systematic hierarchical control process linked to the company's capability and best profit opportunity.
Analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects and work with other relevant PCA staff to ensure PCA's tendered solutions are fit for purpose and provide value for both PCA and the client.
Skills and experience required:
Prior experience in a similar role.
Ability to present in a clearly understood and professional manner to clients and staff.
General understanding of all construction techniques best practices.
Understanding of Contract Conditions, adherence and ramifications that the business needs to process.
Understanding of all compliance legislations, practices and standards.
A commitment to continued professional development.
Possess strong team leadership skills.
Experience with Pronamics Expert Estimation Software (Highly desirable).
