About the role Maroondah Operating Suite has 4 Theatres caring for patients requiring Speciliaties such as Orthopaedics, Plastics including major Recontructive Surgery, Urology, Breast & Endocrine and General Surgery.
The successful applicant will work co-hesively with the Multi-disciplinary Team providing excellent care for our patients.
We provide a Monday-Friday service with reduced capacity at the weekends and after hours on-calls.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Minimum of 24 months as a Grade 3 or 36 months as a Grade 4 full time equivalent Theatre Technician Certification IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support (HLT47515) Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
