This helps land managers grow their capacity and make more informed decisions and choices to enhance the management and productivity of land in NSW.
About the Role In this exciting role, you will work with a high-performing and supportive team in the North West LLS region.
This role works directly with land managers and other key stakeholders within region.
You will assist with;
Delivering a variety of agriculturally themed work and projects in areas such as pastures, livestock, soils, cropping and horticulture Providing high quality advice and expertise to landholders and agricultural extension services through consultations, workshops and field days Planning & delivering workshops and training events About You Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn and want to develop a career in the agricultural and/or livestock sector.
To be successful in the role, you will have;
A positive attitude and a passion for agriculture Work experience within the agriculture/livestock industry A high level of motivation and the drive to make a difference within your local communities An ability to work within a team and also be able to operate autonomously with limited supervision Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to build strong, professional relationships with your stakeholders Essential Requirements Knowledge and understanding of agricultural, environmental, natural resource management, biosecurity and emergency management issues Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel A degree in Agriculture or a related field is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset for the successful candidate.
