Applications are invited from Allied Health Professionals in Training interested in fixed-term full-time, part-time, or casual employment periods up to 12 months within The Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, or the North West Regional Hospital.Employment of AHPs in Training generally occurs during the period encompassing completion of pre-entry tertiary program requirements until their qualification is conferred and essential requirements for employment as an AHP Level 1-2 are met.This Register will remain open to applicants at all times until 30 June 2026 and will be reviewed regularly.Essential Skills and Qualifications

Some roles may require you to hold current Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Registration.Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in the final year of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board as a student or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for student membership with the relevant professional association.Working with Vulnerable People Registration (where applicable).Working with Children Registration (where applicable).Pre-employment checks including conviction checks in the areas of: a) Crimes of Violence, b) Sex Related Offences, c) Serious Drug Offences, d) Crimes involving dishonesty.Disciplinary action in previous employment check.Application Process
