About us: Central Queensland Oral Health Service (CQHHS) strives to provide a fair and equitable oral health service to the eligible clientele with emphasis on providing evidence based dental treatment in the context of public health dentistry, whilst maintaining a supportive work environment for the oral health staff.
Oral Health Service in CQHHS comprises of eleven community dental clinics based within the geographical boundaries of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services, including: Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Emerald, Springsure, Blackwater, Moura, Biloela, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda and Capricornia Correctional Centre.
In addition to these, CQ Oral Health Service also comprises of several fixed and mobile school dental clinics.
About the role: Provide high quality general dental practitioner oral health services to the eligible population whilst utilising advanced skills and experience.
Position provides mentorship, supervision and clinical leadership to the dentists, dental students, senior dental prosthetists, oral health therapists and senior dental lab technicians.
This role would provide clinical leadership and operational management to the Rockhampton Oral Health team, including planning and resource management, and contributing to the strategic direction of the CQHHS Oral Health Service.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual renewal certificate are mandatory for this position.Possession of a licence to use radiation apparatus for dental purposes is required.The successful applicant must complete an application for a Medicare provider number for a dentist for the required location/s within CQHHS Oral Health Services.What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $188,629 p.a.
