We are seeking professional, passionate, and enthusiastic people who share our values and commitment to join our team in Townsville Region QLD.
About the role: We are looking for experienced support workers to build a team for two clients within our community. Looking for a team who are able to deliver tailored support for unique individuals and work as a unit.
Experience or willingness to support clients with high complex needs and high complex behaviours.
Staff will be assisting clients with self-care, food preparations, domestic assistance and community access. Staff must be willing to work overnights and day shifts.
We are looking for: Staff who have flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, evening, night, and weekends. (Flexible rosters to accommodate work-life balance).
Experience in working with people with disabilities, challenging behaviours, and complex physical disabilities.
Opportunities to be trained by our in-house RN, for participant specific needs as outlined in their care plans.
Tasks: Positively supporting our client's routines/care plans in a flexible manner. This includes:
Community ParticipationAssistance with personal careAssist with domestic dutiesAssistance with the preparation of mealsAssist with medicationProvide quality support and meet the needs of the client in line with their goalsAbility to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the client's choice and independenceMaintain client records and report writingProvide feedback to the Service Coordinators and other stakeholdersMandatory checks and licenses: Minimum/Or willing to obtain Certificate III in Individual Support or any Social and Community QualificationsA Current and Valid Driver's License & Full Comprehensive InsuranceCurrent First Aid Certificate including CPRNDIS Workers Screening Check/Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)Current Police CheckNDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" CertificateTo apply, please submit your Resume and cover letter to ******
