Unsolicited applications from agencies will not be considered.Role OverviewThis position will be required to undertake electrical duties on Council infrastructure which includes but is not limited to commercial and industrial electrical work on buildings and facilities, as well as associated equipment to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services to Gympie Regional Council.Demonstrated ability to allocate workflows and resources to achieve work program objectives.Demonstrated experience is essential (local government experience preferred but not essential).Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Knowledge of and familiarity with relevant Electrical Safety Acts and Electrical Safety Regulations.Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence that is current and maintained.Electrical Trade Qualifications (such as Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician QLD).General construction induction (white/blue card).Low Voltage Rescue Qualification.Electrical Work License (QLD).Undertake a broad range of electrical tasks generally related to Council's water and wastewater infrastructure as well as its buildings and facilities.
