HBT GmbH, headquartered in Luenen, Germany, is a world-class machine manufacturer and fully integrated single solution provider specialising in systems and equipment for underground coal mining.
The company exports its high-performance longwall mining equipment to all major mining markets worldwide, strategically located in 15 countries including Australia.
The core HBT facilities have the capability for research, development, design, manufacture and testing of longwall mining equipment in-house.
All HBT products and systems are produced to the highest standards and compliant with international regulatory requirements.
As part of HBT Australia, Waratah Engineering, Argenton is a leading manufacturer of underground mining equipment.
We manufacture and support custom-built mining equipment such as shuttle cars, feeder breakers and multi-bolters as well as offering bespoke remanufacturing services for other underground equipment.
About the role The Project Administrator provides administrative support for project management activities to ensure efficient execution and completion of projects.
This role involves coordinating project documentation, tracking timelines and budgets, managing communication between stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company and project standards.
Key responsibilities include: Project Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project-related documentation, including contracts, schedules, and deliverables.Ensure all project documents are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards.Support the creation and revision of project plans and related documentation.Scheduling and Budget Tracking: Assist with gathering of quality data from production processes.Assist with preparation of reports summarizing inspection results, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions.Audit Support: Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and external contractors.Communicate project updates, issues, and changes in a clear and professional manner.Facilitate project meetings and record minutes for distribution.Compliance and Risk Management: Support the Project Manager in identifying and mitigating project risks.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all project activities.Maintain project records to prepare for audits and reviews.Training and Continuous Improvement: Assist in onboarding new team members by providing training on project processes and tools.Identify opportunities for process improvements within project administration.Share best practices and lessons learned across project teams.About you Strong administrative experience, ideally in project management or a related field.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems).High level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.We offer a competitive salary package as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
