About the CompanyThis well-known commercial fit-out company in North Sydney has a over a decades reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Workplace, Education (Schools and Universities), Hospitality, Retail, and Government sectors.
Projects range up to $10m, with a focus on innovative solutions and exceptional client service delivery and repeat business.
With a collaborative team culture and a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.
This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of a growing, forward-thinking business with 30 staff.
The RoleAs an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing competitive and accurate tenders for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
You'll liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure cost-effective solutions and successful project outcomes.
You will report to the Estimating Manager, helping support 2 other junior Estimators in the team to drive the successful delivery of exciting fit out projects.
ResponsibilitiesReview project documentation and develop detailed cost estimates.Prepare tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope.Source and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the most competitive tenders.Attend tender pitches with new/existing clients to provide the most attractive solutions to clients.Identify potential risks and provide value engineering solutions.Collaborate with the project team during pre-tender and post-tender phases.Maintain and update pricing databases and estimating software.Assist with project handovers to delivery teams ensuring a smooth transition.What You'll BringExperience: 3+ years of Estimating experience within the Australian commercial fit-out sector.Knowledge: Strong understanding of D&C and fully documented projects.Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and preparing BOQs.Software Expertise: Familiarity with Buildsoft Cubit & Bluebeam would be beneficial.Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication abilities.Attitude: A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to teamwork and excellence.BenefitsWork with a collaborative team on diverse and high-profile fit-out projects.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Supportive management team that values innovation and celebrates achievements.Competitive salary and benefits package.How to ApplyIf you're looking to advance your career with a reputable and dynamic company, apply now or contact me for more information:
