PHE Power and Infrastructure is currently seeking a highly motivated HSE Advisor to join our team based out of our Eagle Farm office on a permanent, full-time basis. This position will be a mixture of local and away work.We encourage candidates from across Brisbane and surrounding areas to apply.Based in Eagle Farm, PHE's Brisbane operations undertakes small- and large-scale project work for iconic clients throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland. You will be responsible for providing HSE support, training, and building safety knowledge across for our people.ABOUT YOU:Diploma OHS qualified or Minimum of Cert IV WHS and TAEInternal Auditing training (preferred)Sound working knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, standards and code of practiceD&A testing qualification or ability to obtainReturn to Work Coordination QualificationPrevious experience in a HSE Advisors position working on Industrial Electrical construction projectsSound Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skillsStrong Safety LeadershipHighly organised with impeccable attention to detailFlexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.ABOUT THE ROLE:Provide leadership that encourages Work Health, Safety & Environment throughout site to create a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplaceUndertake regular training needs analysis and manage internal audit programs in consultation with management teamPrepare reports, record data, and collect evidence of the site's complianceProvide active management of workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation, case management and return to work programsReporting any workers compensation matters to ManagementEnsure that all people work sensibly, safely and abide to all WHS & Environmental Acts and RegulationsConduct random D&A testing on siteIdentify health, safety, and environmental non-conformances, conduct investigations and develop solutions for implementationABOUT PHE:It is an exciting time to join as PHE has over 50 years of experience and provides electrical and instrumentation operations support services to clients throughout Australia including mining, hydropower generation, remote gas power generation plants, food and beverage, pulp and paper manufacturing, and timber processing industries and is known for the excellent care we take with clients and employees alike.We are a growing Industrial Electrical Contracting company with projects and branch locations in NSW, QLD, NT, SA, and WA that offers its employees a safe, efficient, and rewarding work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.PHE is actively involved in major projects across Australia, including Cadia Mine NSW, BHP Carrapateena Mine SA, Snowy Hydro NSW scheme, Tanami Mine NT, Prominent Hill Mine SA, Clarke Energy Power Stations (Various sites in Surat and Bowen Basins) and installations/upgrades in the timber and food and beverage industries.WHAT WE BELIEVE:Our people and their safety are our primary responsibility.In encouraging people to be the best they can be.Our success depends on having the right people in positions with the right attitude.WHAT WE OFFER:We offer our employees a safe, efficient, and rewarding work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.A great team culture.A commitment to safety.An opportunity to pursue your career goals.Please note: You must have the right to live and work permanently in Australia.PHE conducts pre-employment medical, Drug and Alcohol testing and a National Police Check prior to employment.
