Council is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Asset Engineer to provide technical and engineering expertise to manage Council's infrastructure asset portfolio.

As a key member of our Infrastructure Assets Management team, you will contribute to the management of Council's infrastructure assets, delivering high quality services to the community while managing the life-cycle costs of these critical assets.

Key focus areas will include:
Develop and manage various work programs, including investigations and project feasibility assessments Administer and manage contracts, design and estimate works, and prioritise works beyond the current financial year which reflect Council's strategic direction Provide accurate and timely technical advice on a wide range of infrastructure engineering issues Respond to requests from elected representatives and community members regarding infrastructure assets Manage, monitor and report on legislative requirements for Council's infrastructure assets including end of financial year reporting to other government agencies Maintain asset registers, develop asset management plans, conduct asset revaluations, and schedule renewal works Manage projects and support the implementation of the annual capital works program in accordance with assigned budgets and targets Our ideal candidate is an experienced Engineer with expertise in cutting edge, innovative asset management practices.
Your strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills will enable you to present complex information and advice clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

You listen, evaluate and reason effectively to provide top-tier solutions without compromising integrity.

Specifically, you will have:
Degree in Engineering, and relevant experience in management of infrastructure assets including investigating, assessing and recommending solutions for civil infrastructure Demonstrated understanding of asset and risk management principles (including statutory requirements), to manage Council's infrastructure assets base Experience in asset lifecycle modelling and preparation of asset management plans for infrastructure assets Experience in the programming of asset renewal and capital works for infrastructure assets, including the preparation of project briefs for capital projects High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people Experience in stormwater management is desirable LET'S REVEAL THE PERKS
