Maintenance Officer I Aged Care I Salary PackagingMayfield, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSWAn exciting new opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join a successful and committed team at the Fronditha Care Mayfield East Residential Facility.This role is 5 days per week, 6.5 hours per day - Permanent Part TimeWhat do we do? Fronditha Care offers a wide range of aged care services and programs to support elderly individuals and their families.Aligning with our core values of Respect, Do right, Bring Joy and Inspire Better, we are able to care and foster a culture that honours our elderly.What you will doMonitor and control supplies and equipmentOversee and coordinate any required contractors working on sitePurchase and maintain materials, stores and provisions as requiredUndertake repair and cleaning work of plant and equipment as per manufacturers' guidelinesEnsure day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility such as general repairs, waste removal, test and tagging.What we look forPrevious experience in an aged care setting is desirableTrade Qualifications in Construction/Electrical/Plumbing desirable, not essentialBuilding and equipment maintenance on an ongoing basisLiaison with external contractors where requiredLawn and garden maintenance as requiredManagement of Fire Safety & Evacuation ProceduresWhy work with us?Guided to Greatness: Embark on a comprehensive induction program and buddy shifts to ensure your success.Supercharged Benefits: Unlock salary packaging options up to $15,900 and enjoy a generous $2,650 allowance for meals and entertainment - even on a casual basisEmployee Wellness Package: Access our health and wellbeing programming, including EAP support for personal and professional assistance.
