Change Lead Contract to 06 /30 /2025| Brisbane CBD & Work from Home Join a large Queensland government department as a Change Lead Lead testing for a transformative project replacing aging sleep study systems with a modern solution for enhanced in-lab and remote diagnostics.
About the Role Key responsibilities include: Apply high level leadership and support change management activities with clinical and non-clinical staff during the implementation of the SSRP project.
Lead and manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of the business readiness elements of a medium scale, complex change in line with program and project management methodologies.
Promote and ensure the use of appropriate change management techniques, methodologies and tools to ensure quality change management outcomes are delivered.
Manage project change resources.
Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project team(s).
Work closely with the SSRP project team and business stakeholders in planning for the implementation of the SSRP solution with a focus on business readiness, communications and other change management activities.
Develop the Change and Engagement strategy in collaboration with Clinical Informatics Change Managers, the project team and business stakeholders, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
Develop the Training Strategy (Training Needs Analysis, Training Plan) and supporting training collateral in collaboration with the project team, business stakeholders and suppliers.
Establish highly functioning stakeholder engagement forums and relationships to ensure strong user adoption and project success.
Manage and support the delivery of training to staff in collaboration with the project team, Clinical Informatics and suppliers.
Provide strategic change management advice and recommendations to the Project Board to support executive decision-making Supervise and mentor change management staff as part of leading the change management activities Partner with the unit's nurse educator to develop and deliver training programs that meet clinical requirements and support transition of training into BAU About You Experience in ICT change roles at a senior level, combined with a good understanding and expertise of Queensland Health systems and processes.
Experience or exposure to Sleep systems and processes as well as HBCIS, and ieMR is highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in providing strategic advice to executive stakeholders and project boards There are no mandatory qualifications or requirements for this position.
However, values enhanced work performance which may be gained from the expanded knowledge base and skills acquired during formal tertiary training and encourage both existing and potential staff to participate in lifelong learning.
Completion of a relevant degree is desirable.
