We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting our Controls Engineering team in designing and commissioning new systems.
You will assist in the deployment of electrical control systems by designing, documenting, testing and commissioning materials handling automation hardware and PLC software.
The position also provides substantial opportunities to travel across a number of our customer locations within Australia and overseas.
What We Offer:Progressive and innovative global company experiencing high growthCareer Development and Global OpportunitiesCompetitive salary, salary packaging and novated leasing availableCorporate discounts on car rentals and IT products/accessoriesPaid Parental Leave + super: 12 weeks for primary carer/2 weeks secondaryPurchase LeaveEmployee Referral ProgrammeDuties and Responsibilities:Prepare and review functional, system and other specificationsConformance to OHS&E standards in the design and execution of all workPreparation of electrical schematic drawings, PLC programs and configuration of operator interfacesPreparation of manufacturing and installation specificationsCompletion of administration processes in a timely mannerAssisting in planning and installations of systemsManaging the procurement of parts, the manufacture of cabinets and the electrical installationFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of PLC systemsPreparation of test plans including operator & technical manualsOn-site commissioning of systems on location in Australia, New Zealand & AsiaTraining of client personnel and providing customer supportHanding over projects to our service team for ongoing support of siteWhat We Are Looking For:Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or related disciplines with excellent academic recordsStrong software programming aptitudeExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent time management and prioritising skillsWillingness to travel during the installation and commissioning phase of a projectPrevious engineering internship experience highly regardedCommitment to project delivery and seeing tasks through to completionDependable mature minded individual that is a good proactive team playerThis is a unique opportunity to join a highly dedicated and supportive team.
