This position specializes in the maintenance and operation duties of the 4-stage crushing and screening plant, to ensure the availability of the crusher and other associated equipment.Working in a crew on a rotating shift roster, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, reactive breakdown maintenance and shutdown work across the calcrete crushing area.You will be responsible for:Regular inspections and planned maintenance of the calcrete crushing & screening plant and associated conveyorsThe safe operation of the primary, secondary and tertiary crushers and associated screens and conveyorsThe safe operation of equipment such as Bobcats and skid steers to assist with the clean-up of any spillage from the conveyorsOperating fixed plant crushing equipmentOperating a CAT 988 loader, 20-ton excavator, and skid-steerMonitoring and management of systems in milling operations of Calcrete production and consumptionMonitoring and management of ROM operations, Calcrete stockpile, traffic management and ROM demarcation and exclusion zonesAbout YouAs a minimum, you will have a Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar discipline, coupled with fixed plant mechanical maintenance experience.
