Role: Policy / Ministerial Officer FOR A STATE GOVERNMENT CLIENT What: Exciting opportunities for anyone who would love to get into the Public sector.
Has level 3-4 policy skill set.
Starting on a 6 month contract with possible temp to perm for the right candidates.
Multiple locations: Perth CBD Pay bracket: $55ph + Super (TEMP) Start ASAP Key Responsibilities Undertake research and analysis to inform policy responses to issues and trends within the sector.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communications in relation to policy and program design, implementation and review.
Prepare briefing notes, discussion papers, reports and correspondences for key decision makers (including Ministers, senior executives and committees) and develop content for Departmental publications and reports.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the Department, other government agencies and stakeholders.
Provide operational and branch coordination and support functions as required.
Participate in and provide support to national and State reform agendas.
Undertakes research and analysis of economic infrastructure development and policy initiatives.
Prepares persuasive, robust and strategic policy advice for government.
ontributes to the development of departmental and whole-of-government initiatives and communicates the department's position to stakeholders.
Fosters internal and external relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
Collaborates with colleagues to achieve project outcomes.
