The role We're excited to welcome a dynamic Assistant Project Manager (APM) to our team in Melbourne, where you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects and grow your career with us.
Based in Melbourne CBD, you will work directly with our experienced Project Director on education & commercial projects.
Assisting on the day-to-day requirements of the project in accordance with our contracted scope and Integrated Management Systems.
You are the safe pair of hands on the project under the leadership of the Project Director.
Tasks include: Assisting the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectationsAssisting with tenders to appoint external contractors and consultantsReviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.Managing project timelines, risks, and reportingAttending project meetings with clients and consultants - ensuring minutes are recordedProject administration, in line with our ISO 9001-2016 accreditationA degree in Construction Management, Building Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture or a related fieldUnderstanding of the client-side project management roleExemplary written and verbal communication skillsOrganised and diligent, with a desire to learn from the more senior members of the teamAustralian Citizenship or Permanent Australian ResidencyDriving LicensePreferred criteria: 1-2 years plus experience in project management, ideally in a client-side consulting roleWhat We Offer: Experience working on some of VIC's most prestigious and iconic projects.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.On-the-job training and mentorship from industry experts, plus the CTPG Academy.Exposure to a diverse range of projects within the education and commercial sectors.A supportive and collaborative team environment.If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be a part of our growing team, please submit your resume using the link provided.
