Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our Airlock Digital environment and lead efforts in server patching to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance our security posture. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will ensure secure, stable, and efficient operational infrastructure by managing technical architecture, server/network technologies, and operating systems. Provide high availability and flexibility for services like RIS/PACS, financial, reporting, marketing, and HR systems whilst adhering to I-MED's policies and IT strategy to support business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Strategy, Architecture & Projects - Develop and maintain IT architecture for stability and growth, review and update infrastructure, and standardize processes with formal documentation.Demand & Capacity Management - Monitor and report on system performance to meet SLAs, forecast IT needs, and advise managers on resource planning.Availability & Security Management - Monitor and optimise service availability, enforce security policies, manage breaches, and review plans to ensure SLA compliance.Knowledge Transfer & Continuous Improvement - Share technical expertise, promote best practices, enhance IT solutions, and update guidelines collaboratively to improve operations.Relationship Management & Team Collaboration - Build strong relationships with stakeholders, foster a positive team environment, provide third-level support, and act as a technical resource for integration projects.Professional Development & Growth - Engage in professional development, share knowledge to foster team growth, and participate in training and performance programs.Qualifications, Skills & CompetenciesBachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience of at least 7 yearsProven experience in deploying, configuring and managing security policies within the Airlock Digital platformDemonstrated experience in planning, scheduling and implementing server patching processes and usage of patch management platforms for seamless deployment and monitoringA proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvementKnowledge of ITIL processes, especially change/service/capacity managementDemonstrated project management experience and ability to work with stakeholders in delivering tasks and projectsStrong understanding of network concepts (Routing/VLAN's/Firewalls/etc.)Strong field experience with large WAN & LAN deployment; managed large complex environments, utilising monitoring tools and experience with the toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.If you're passionate about security and ready to make an impact, apply today to join I-MED.Equal Opportunity Employer: I-MED is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
