Our Client is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore.The Australian division of Our Client is embarking on an exciting growth phase to execute three significant contracts on major projects in Western Australia.FERTILIZER EXPERIENCE IS A MUSTAbout The ProjectThe project has some major players in the WA resources market and is located on the Burrup Peninsula between Dampier and Karratha.The plant will transform natural gas from nearby offshore field into granular urea for export; urea is a widely used form of fertilizer for production of food for future generations and this project is strongly supported by the WA state government.About The RoleOur client is seeking an Oil & Gas experienced Commissioning Lead for this project.
The role will provide support to permits and clearances during commissioning and will be based in Karratha with some time spent in Chennai, India.
The role will be a permanent one year position with potential to extend based on circumstances and progress.Key AccountabilitiesWork in Task Force coordinating with the Project Team, different Companies of the JVs and Client for the correct and timely management of any Permit required to support the project completion phases with particular focus on the commissioning and start-up phases;Knowledge and addressing of Australian Regulation and Permits relevant to Oil & Gas industry for Commissioning and Start-Up Phases;Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Safety Standards/Requirements;Knowledge of PC, Windows, Office Software and IT implementation background;Capable to read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information;Oversee the assigned ITIL processes to improve service management and delivery;Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of Microsoft systems and applications;Handle basic IT troubleshooting and support requests, escalating complex issues to the appropriate outsourced teams.Professional QualificationsBachelor's degree in chemical / mechanical engineering (preferable);Have experience working with Permit Regulator;Have work experience with international main Oil & Gas EPC company;Knowledge on the West Australian Oil & Gas Regulation & correlated Permits.If you possess relevant experience and are available for a new opportunity, please submit your resume by clicking APPLY.For more information, please contact Michael on or Group is a specialist recruitment provider renowned for recruiting quality project teams on major projects within the Energy, Resources, Defence, Renewables and Infrastructure sectors.DRD Group embraces a diverse workforce culture and encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
