Salary: 120k - $150k PackageLocation: North Sydney location - next to the stationCompany: Top 100 firm with strong brand recognitionMy client is a full-service Top 100 CA firm with a strong history in the Sydney market.
Their team consists of 12 Directors and approx.
80 professional staff.
The firm's key services include Tax, Advisory, SMSF, and family wealth and estate planning.As a business, they have a collaborative, supportive, & hard-working culture with a significant focus on staff development, training, and a transparent path to progression.
Almost all their current Directors have been promoted from within, starting with the firm in more junior roles.The firm services a wide variety of clients of different scales and industries, but has a particularly strong footprint in the private client space – with HNWI's, family groups, and SMSF's.
The business is structured into pods under each Director, creating a clear reporting line and allocation of work, as well as consistency in training and mentorship.They are now seeking an experienced Supervisor to Manager to join one of their teams.
You will work under an approachable and highly technical Partner, and alongside another Manager who has been with the business for a number of years.
Together you will be managing a fee base of approx.
$2 million, with the support of a team of 5 from Junior to Senior level beneath.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy mentoring and developing their team, and be eager to deliver the best service to their clients.
There is ample opportunity to progress upwards in this role.Inside the office, you'll find a diverse and friendly team with strong tenure.
The firm offers in-house and external training, full CA support, regular social and extra-curricular events, sport and fitness programs, and is actively involved in giving back to the local community & charities.Key duties include:Assisting the Partner with tax planning and research workOverseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS / IASReviewing, training, and mentoring junior staff and working with the Partner and co-Manager to ensure each team member is on track towards their development goalsManaging monthly billing processes to ensure work is completed on time and within budgetsManaging client relationships, meeting with clients face-to-face and virtually, and ensuring correspondence and queries are dealt with in a timely mannerLeading and inspiring the wider team and actively participating in firm initiativesThe ideal candidate will possess:CA or CPA qualification5+ years experience in business services & taxationProven staff management experience (Supervisor to Manager level) for a minimum of 12 monthsA genuine desire to progress their career within a reputable CA firmStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPractical experience with superannuation (highly advantageous)If you are interested in this role please email your resume to quoting reference AB13270.
