Designer Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven VIC Logistics & Transport Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics and transportation operations within our Victorian facilities, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and products.
Key responsibilities Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise supply chain performance and meet delivery timelinesManage a team of logistics coordinators and drivers, providing leadership, training and performance managementOversee the planning and scheduling of transportation activities, including route optimisation and fleet utilisationLiaise with suppliers, carriers and customers to coordinate the seamless flow of goodsMonitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvementEnsure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standardsCollaborate with the broader management team to identify and implement process improvementsWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior logistics or transport management role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industriesStrong understanding of transportation regulations, fleet management and supply chain optimisationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationshipsProficient in using logistics management software and data analysis toolsProblem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementTertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is highly desirableWhat we offer At Designer Transport, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
