The Senior Finance Officer undertakes high level operational finance tasks to deliver services within the Service Level Agreement framework.
The Senior Finance Officer provides support to other team members plus advice and analysis to clients and other stakeholders.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Perform a range of financial tasks including:preparation of correspondenceundertaking accruals and reconciliationsend of month journals and reports including balance sheet reconciliations, registers and prepaymentsdaily banking tasks and cashflow reportingmanagement of payroll interface processes including reconciliationsmanage leave accrual processesmanagement of Open Item Management in SAPmaintenance and completion of various registers.Monitor and report on service delivery outcomes in line with service level agreements and contribute to the ongoing development of these agreements.Provide accurate and timely specialist advice and assistance to clients, management and staff on financial management policies, procedures, standards and systems.Undertake research, analysis and investigation into financial management issues and complex problems.Work collaboratively to achieve business process reform and review, enhance and implement improved standardised work practices.Mentor staff to build team capability.Applications to remain current for 12 months Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.
