This is an exciting, diverse, and unique role and would suit someone who is keen to take their workers compensation career to the next level, with ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression. You will be exposed to a diverse portfolio of workers compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions. You will work within a team who are located around the country and who provide support to our state-based branches and clients by managing claims from multiple states of risk.You'll be responsible for:Managing a diverse portfolio of claims for clients.Interpretation and application of various legislation and regulations.Assessment of injuries including reviewing medical reports and surgical requests.Assessment of damages and negotiation of settlements.Provision of instructions to legal counsel.Liaising with key external stakeholders including brokers, insureds, solicitors, doctors, and claimants.Developing strategies to progress matters towards resolution.Assisting in the retention of major clients by providing outstanding customer service.About you:Experience in a claims management role within workers compensation.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a customer-focused approach.The ability to handle difficult situations while resolving complex issues in a timely manner.Proactive with the drive to learn and develop skills.Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt when changes occur.What's on offer:Be part of a team that's open-minded, supportive, and genuinely focused on customer outcomes.A sense of belonging in the workplace, where you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your most authentic self to work.An employer that is committed to supporting your work/life balance and is always open to conversations about flexible & remote working.Access to over 10,000 on-demand learning resources and programs, to support you in taking control of your career development.Deals and discounts across a great range of retail, tech, and travel brands, and offers for health and well-being.About AllianzAt Allianz, we care about everything that makes you, you.
