SENIOR GEOLOGIST – EXPLORATION LEADERSHIP IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENTJoin Strike Resources Limited (ASX: SRK), a nimble and growing resource company entering an exciting phase of diversification and expansion.
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Geologist to lead and manage our exploration initiatives across multiple commodities and regions.
In this role, you'll take charge of designing and executing exploration programs, driving the discovery of mineral resources that will shape Strike's future success.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you'll enjoy the autonomy to make a real impact, working closely with management to advance our exploration portfolio.
Location: Perth-based with travel to domestic and international project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Exploration Leadership: Design, plan, and implement exploration programs, from early-stage target generation to resource definition, across multi-commodity projects.Geological Analysis: Integrate and analyze geological, geophysical, geochemical, and remote sensing data to identify and prioritize exploration targets.Reporting & Compliance: Prepare high-quality technical reports and resource estimates, adhering to JORC standards, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Tenement Management: Manage and optimize the company's tenement portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate exploration progress and results to senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.Team Development: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and contractors as required.Ideal Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.Experience:At least 10 years of experience in mineral exploration across multiple commodities ideally including iron ore, gold, copper and/or base metals.Proven track record of advancing exploration projects from concept to resource definition.Technical Expertise:Skilled in geological mapping, drill program management, and resource estimation.Proficient in geological software such as GIS, Leapfrog, and Micromine.Hands-On Fieldwork: Be actively involved in field activities, ensuring high-quality data collection, sampling protocols, and geological interpretation.Competent Person Certification: Ability to act as a Competent Person under JORC reporting standards for one or more commodities.Adaptability & Initiative: Comfortable working in a small-company environment, with the ability to take ownership of projects and adapt to changing priorities.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, capable of clearly presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site as required.Why Join Strike Resources Limited?
