Schnitz is expanding its management team in Melton.Our Assistant Restaurant Managers take pride in preparing and serving delicious golden, pan-fried schnitzels with a smile.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager with setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results.As an Assistant Manager your role will involve:Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operationsEnhancing guest satisfaction by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actionsEnsuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standardAssisting with ordering of stock from various suppliersAssisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, and cash handlingManaging daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurantEnsuring safety and security standards are recognized and upheldMeeting restaurant financial objectivesWhat we are looking for:Leadership experience in hospitality, particularly within high-volume operationsA love of food and a focus on exceptional customer serviceA constructive, positive, and considerate communicatorExceptional presentation, communication, time management, and attention to detailAbility to maintain professionalism under pressureAbility to work a flexible rotating roster including evenings and weekendsPassion about building a positive culture within the restaurant – making Schnitz an enjoyable place to work.About you:You will be passionate and authentic, deliver genuine hospitality, and be keen to work within a fast-moving and positive environment.In return, you will work with a passionate and driven team that has a lot of fun along the wayYou will be rewarded with a competitive salary package and the opportunity to join a company that offers excellent career opportunities.
