About the role Parker Hannifin Australia Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join their team in Castle Hill, NSW.
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's inventory management processes to support its manufacturing and logistics operations.
This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of a leading global engineering company.
What you'll be doing Analyse inventory data and demand forecasts to develop efficient inventory plans that balance supply and demandCollaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials and componentsMonitor inventory levels, identify potential stock-outs or excess, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory levelsDevelop and maintain inventory policies, procedures, and reporting to support business requirementsImplement and oversee inventory control systems and processes to improve accuracy and visibilityIdentify opportunities for inventory optimization, such as reducing lead times, optimizing order quantities, and improving forecast accuracyProvide regular reports and analysis to management on inventory performance and make recommendations for improvementWhat we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data science and analytics, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning or demand planningStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsProficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis toolsStrong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsThorough understanding of inventory management principles, including demand forecasting, safety stock, and inventory optimization techniques.What we offer Professional development training to enhance skills for career progression.Free onsite parkingPaid Volunteering LeaveFlexible Work PracticesBonus Scheme17.5% Annual leave loadingEmployee Assistance Program for employees and their immediate familyPaid Birthday LeaveParker is committed to building a welcoming and inclusive workplace that respects and embraces the unique perspectives of all to drive Parker forward.
