The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS).
The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS.
The Opportunity: KBR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work within our CLCM team based out of Garden Island, Sydney.
The Electrical Engineer will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that provides specialist knowledge on electrical systems and provides mentorship to fellow engineers supporting CLCM engineering activities.
Responsibilities: Act as the CLCM SME on matters related to electrical engineering.Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.Deliver Electrical Engineering activities to ensure compliance with approved policy, plans and processes.Verify Problem Resolution Reports (RPRs) raised for any equipment or spare that does not or may not reflect the Ships Approved baseline.Develop tasking statements for design work to be undertaken.Review engineering design tasks deliverables and conduct associated technical Design Reviews.Promote a safe working environment through the conduct of all activities.As the ideal candidate you will bring: Essential: Bachelor of Electrical Engineer (or related discipline).Eligible to obtain SQEP Engineering Delegation Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO).Hold, or be eligible for, membership of a recognised professional body and registration as Chartered Engineer.A minimum of 7 years related experience, with typical experience ranging from 10-15 years.Desirable: Experience in a Department of Defence design delivery.Experience in marine design or maintenance.All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
