We are presently arranging interviews for an Emergency Medicine Specialist or candidates who are nearing the completion of their fellowship training.

Manning Base Hospital in Taree is a key regional healthcare facility with 150 beds, delivering a comprehensive array of services, including a busy emergency department.
Located approximately 310 km north of Newcastle and 340 km south of the Queensland border, it serves a vital role in the region's healthcare network.
The hospital's emergency department is well-resourced to handle a broad range of acute medical conditions, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Qualifications :
FACEM: Must hold Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or be nearing completion of the fellowship.
Medical Registration: Current medical registration with AHPRA.
Experience and Skills :
Clinical Experience: Proven experience in emergency medicine, managing a wide range of acute medical and trauma cases.
Skills: Competence in high-pressure decision-making and effective management of emergency situations.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary team and with patients.
Personal Attributes :
Commitment: Dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency care and engaging in continuous professional development.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic healthcare team.
Adaptability: Flexible and capable of excelling in a regional healthcare setting.
Additional Requirements :
Availability: Available to start as soon as possible or by February 2025.
Residency: Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship preferred, but not required.
