The Spinal Injuries Unit are looking for multiple Enrolled Nurses to join their team.
The Spinal Injuries Unit is a part of the Queensland Spinal Cord Injuries Service (QSCIS) and is a 40-bed unit servicing all of Queensland.
It is situated at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, near all other acute medical services that are required to successfully manage a person with spinal cord injuries.
Rehabilitation services are provided by an experienced multi-disciplinary professional team.

About the Role The Enrolled Nurse (EN) practices under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); utilising clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within Spinal Injuries Unit.The EN consolidates knowledge and skills moving from beginner to experienced, applying their depth of knowledge and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate patient care, with regular communication and/or assistance from the Registered Nurse.Appointees will also be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.Medication endorsement is a requirement for this position.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
