You will help design and implement specific programs addressing workplace health & safety for our people across aviation, clinical, corporate, and retail disciplines/functions.Your key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Design and implement workplace-specific Occupational Health and Organisational Wellbeing programsProvide support to workers returning to workDrive and maintain organisational wellbeing programsConduct workplace assessment in relation to specific health, safety and wellbeing issuesContribute to maintaining our accreditation to all safety, environmental and quality accreditation programsParticipate in the strategic environmental plan for emission reduction within the RFDS SA/NTAbout YouTo be considered for the role you require:Relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, or related fieldsHigh level of knowledge and skill in managing occupational health, safety and wellbeing in a high-risk industryKnowledge and understanding of relevant legislation for Work Health and Safety and Environmental legislative requirementsExperience in managing/conducting remote and regional operations, particularly in hostile environmentsEffective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiationExperience in Incident investigation experience would be advantageous, however, not essential.As part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best.
