Kennedys is looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our Insurance practice in Sydney.
The successful candidate will work directly with the partner, James Melvin on a mix of complex general insurance matters, involving coverage, financial lines, D&O and PI defence issues.
The role will include the day to day handling and management of high value coverage disputes for professional institutions, financial institutions, corporate service providers, directors and officers (D&O), as well as offering clear written advice to our clients.
The role will also have a focus on the defence of professional liability claims, monitoring claims in other jurisdictions, arbitrations and subrogated recoveries.

Team The team in Sydney have extensive experience across multiple lines of insurance work, with a particular depth of expertise in professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors' and officers' (D&O), medical malpractice, public and product liability, property and construction, energy, cyber, marine and transport.
