About the RoleMcConnell Dowell Constructors are seeking an enthusiastic Project Engineer – Electrical to join our project team based on site in the western suburbs of Rockhampton heading towards the Gladstone region.If you're looking to join a company that encourages people to think outside the box, influence change through great ideas and continuous improvement, this role is ideal for you.
This position will work on a 15:6 roster with site uplift applicable.
Responsibilities include: Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents on Engineering, temporary works, scheduling, and status of the project.Provide overall progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost as required by the Project Manager.Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel.Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel.Develop and oversee inspection practices of Site Engineers to ensure effective and satisfactory progress and completion of all work areas for the project.About you: Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a construction environment.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others.We're dedicated to building a diverse workplace, so we also look at applicants with great transferable skills from similar industries.
