We are seeking an experienced Network/Systems Administrator Team Lead based in Sydney - Macquarie Park. Lead our Network/Systems Administrator (NOC) Team, where you'll play a crucial role in leading the NOC Team integrity and optimising our clients' IT infrastructure.
You'll handle escalated technical issues from end-users or other IT teams relating to all technology, both on-premise and cloud technology.
Collaborate with our Customer Success Team and look for continuous improvements in our NOC Operations while working with our Optimise Project Team and ensure seamless delivery of managed services.
Key Responsibilities Provide team leadership to NOC Engineers and support the Service Delivery Manager.Be accountable for the overall Team performance and delivery standards for our Managed Services Clients.Guide our Customer Success Team with technology improvements benefiting their clients from your teams feedback.Provide reactive IT support, second and third-level IT Support relating to issues with customer's systems and network infrastructure.Support services for Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Azure services, Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Cloud Services, Office 365, Intune Infrastructure.Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware and Microsoft.Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix XenApp and VDA.Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, internet, telecommunications, and security.Responding to security alerts and remediating security-related incidents and issues.Communication with stakeholders as required: keeping the customers informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.Optimisation and management of the Lanrex monitoring systems (N-Central).Perform proactive maintenance for agreement customers.Streamline processes leveraging automation.Benefits of this role include: Opportunity to draw upon existing NOC team leadership and work with a multi-region service desk engineering team.Opportunity to work with highly skilled systems engineers, architects and service desk teams to achieve customer service outcomes.Opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and experience within a growing provider.Opportunity to develop in higher-level technical services and project delivery.Intention Professional Development Plans for continued learning.Large suite of technical tools to support the teams ability to deliver a holistic NOC Services function.Professional Skills and Experience Requirements: Existing NOC Team Leadership is highly desirable5+ years in computer engineering, network, IT end-user and infrastructure support.Extensive experience in the support of Microsoft core services, including Azure, Cloud Services, Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory and SQL Server, Cloud Services, O365, Intune and Windows Server 2016 systems administration.Knowledge and experience across server virtualisation technologies.
(VMware, Microsoft preferred)Extensive experience implementing and supporting backup and DR solutions, including Storagecraft, Azure backup and Datto products.Advanced customer service and communication experience.Previous Managed Services experience in the Mid-Tier/SME sector.Proven deployment of systems and infrastructure.Personal Attributes: A genuine team player who can help guide the team and identify opportunity for improvement in a collaborative way.Takes full ownership of the technical delivery of required outcomes.Client-focused, with a commitment to excellent customer service and high-quality service delivery.Highly organised and able to multi-task with competing priorities and influences.Exceptional communication and presence.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with client representatives at all levels.Able to work as part of a team, as well as being able to work unsupervised. #J-18808-Ljbffr
