is seeking a highly skilled Data Risk/Privacy Specialist to join our team in Sydney CBD.
Job Summary:We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our efforts in identifying and mitigating data risk and privacy risks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the current state of data risk and privacy risk, designing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential data risk and privacy risksDevelop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, including data protection and privacy complianceProvide expert guidance and oversight on data protection and privacy risk strategy and complianceBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaborationConduct Privacy Impact Assessments and provide recommendations for complex privacy issuesEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data breach notification lawsRequirements:Proven experience in data risk and privacy risk managementStrong understanding of data protection and privacy laws and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
